By time-sharing our information system, our clients have the considerable resources of LPC/MPC and Misys Healthcare Systems at their disposal, without the costly alternative of having to purchase and maintain a computer system. LPC/MPC's network of offices across Louisiana and Mississippi allows our clients to receive the best physician practice management services available with the benefit of responsive, local support.
In addition to delivering on-line access to the Misys TIGER™ and Misys EMR™ software, LPC/MPC brings a wide array of value-added services to clients. These services range from expensive additional-cost Misys TIGER™ programs and modules which are available to our clients at little or no charge, to customized reports and programs not available at all from Misys TIGER™. Individual patient Explanation of Medicare Benefits are printed when claims secondary to Medicare are printed. This eliminates the need to photocopy and highlight bulk remittances to attach to claims secondary to Medicare. This service is only available through LPC/MPC; the stand-alone +Misys PM™ software does not offer any kind or EOMB printouts.
- Daily reminder systems for all users
Every user has a personal "tickler" file. After adding future reminders, the system automatically displays today's and tomorrow's reminders when the user logs into the system. This User Reminder System is a LPC/MPC value-added service.
- Electronic mail menu
LPC/MPC's custom e-mail menu makes it easy for users to find someone's e-mail address and send or read mail.
- On-line newsletter indexes for Medicare Provider News and Part B News
Users can search our index of these two important Medicare newsletters to display a chronological listing of articles matching their keyword; the listing includes a full article title, date, volume and page number for the articles. This index is a LPC/MPC value-added service.

Short A/R |
LPC/MPC's Short A/R report condenses the standard Misys TIGER™ Aged A/R Report. Page 1 sorts the patient types in numerical order by patient type, printing one line per patient type; page 2 prints the same data in descending order by total A/R; page 3 prints a bar graph of page 2.

Charges by Patient Type (MTD vs. YTD vs. Last Year) |
This 3 page report ranks patient type charges in descending order by year-to-date volume and compares each to month-to-month and last-year charge volume for the same patient type. Percentages are given for all, enabling a "snapshot" of patient demographic shifts. Misys TIGER™ doesn't offer this report.

These are available at discounted rates, or at no additional charge to LPC/MPC customers:
- CODELINK® ICD-9 and CPT Coding Software
Integrated third-party coding software, including an E/M Coder to determine proper level of service. No charge for CODELINK.
- Electronic Remittance Posting
We offer electronic remittance posting of Medicare remittances. There is no charge to our clients for downloading the remittance files or making the remittance posting program available to them.
- Custom DIAGRAM Screens and Reports
DIAGRAM is an additional-cost module in +Misys PM™ which allows users to design screens integrated into Misys. These screens can be used to capture additional data (patient survey, surgery scheduling details, etc.), and to do custom reporting.
- Computer-Based Training Software (CBT)
CBT training software runs on standard personal computers and is a text-based introduction to various modules of the +Misys PM™ software. Users are introduced to the actual Misys screens, and simulate data entry, inquiry and reporting routines as they will on the Misys system. Users can get a hands-on instruction on the software before going "live," or use the CBT to explore modules of Misys before implementation. Modules include Daily Routines, Appointment Scheduler, Correspondence Module, Revision 5.0 Features, and Autochart. These CBT modules are additional-cost products from Misys, but are available to LPC/MPC clients at no charge.

Computer-Assisted Learning Software (CAL) Misys' newest self-tutorial software, CAL is a multimedia program, requiring a PC with a CD-ROM drive and sound card. Instead of reading explanation of screens and procedures as on CBTs, the CAL software uses graphics, sound and animation to introduce users to the Misys software. The first CAL CD-ROM, Mastering the Daily Routines, reviews getting around in +Misys PM™, patient demographics, appointment scheduling, charge and receipt entry, inquiry and more. An additional-cost product from Misys, the CAL CD-ROM is available to LPC/MPC clients for training at no charge.
